Our commitment to operational excellence is built on a talented and dynamic team. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Local Driver – Class 1 (Granby Terminal) who is passionate, committed, and proactive to join our team.

 

Terminal location:
615 Luxembourg Street, Granby

The driver will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of goods for various customers in the Granby area, as well as the Greater Montréal area and the Eastern Townships. Daily departure and return are from our Granby terminal.

The position may involve deliveries using a flatbed trailer or a curtain-side trailer, including the proper and secure load fastening of merchandise.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

     

  • Perform delivery and pickup of goods for various customers within the assigned territory
  • Assist, as needed, with loading and unloading merchandise manually or using equipment (pallet jack)
  • Secure loads using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
  • Ensure deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that goods are not damaged
  • Use a mobile device to receive and transmit information related to deliveries and pickups
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports following truck checks and report any anomalies detected during a trip
  • Perform any other related tasks as required

    REQUIRED PROFILE

     

  • Hold a Class 1 driver’s license
  • Flatbed experience (an asset)
  • Demonstrate autonomy
  • Strong organizational skills
  •  

    WORK SCHEDULE

    • 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
