CLASS 1 FM DRIVER – USA – Part-Time

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 
• Deliver and pick up goods from various clients according to assigned territory
• Assist with loading/unloading merchandise when required (manually or with equipment such as a pallet jack)
• Secure loads using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transit
• Verify that deliveries and pickups match client orders and that goods are undamaged
• Use a mobile device to receive and transmit information related to pickups and deliveries
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any anomalies detected during trips
• Perform other related tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license
• Functional English (for U.S. customs clearance and general client communication)
• Valid passport
• Strong geographical knowledge of the territory (an asset)
• Autonomous and reliable
• Good physical endurance
• FAST card, TWIC, or eligibility to obtain one (an asset)

SCHEDULE

• Variable departure: Wednesday evening or Thursday
• Variable return: Saturday evening or Sunday
