The driver will be responsible for delivering and picking up goods from various customers in the United States, specifically on the East Coast and New York Island, including New England.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Deliver and pick up goods from various customers within the assigned territory
-
Assist, if necessary, with loading or unloading merchandise manually or with equipment (pallet jack)
-
Secure cargo using straps and logistic bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
-
Ensure that deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that goods are not damaged
-
Use the mobile device to obtain and share information regarding pickups and deliveries
-
Complete daily inspection reports following truck checks and report any anomalies detected during trips

Perform any other related tasks as required
REQUIRED PROFILE

Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license

Basic knowledge of English required to understand transportation documents and communicate with English-speaking authorities and customers

Valid passport

Good geographical knowledge of the territory (an asset)

Autonomous

T endorsement (an asset)

Good physical endurance

FAST or TWIC card or eligible to obtain one (an asset)

Interest in making deliveries and pickups on New York Island (an asset)
AVAILABLE WORK SCHEDULES

SALARY

Between $87,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on the work schedule
