FORKLIFT MECHANIC

Transport Bourassa is a company specialized in transportation and warehousing, recognized for its professionalism and high-quality service. Our mechanical workshop plays a key role in ensuring the safety and performance of our operations. We are currently looking to strengthen our team with a Forklift Mechanic.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts (propane, electric, and diesel).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts while following safety standards.
• Carry out regular inspections to ensure equipment compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to optimize fleet availability and reliability.
• Always ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Desired Profile

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in industrial mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in forklift mechanics or maintenance of similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems and computerized diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Team spirit and willingness to contribute to collective success.
• Asset: forklift mechanic certification or experience in a transport/warehousing environment.
