MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and pick up goods from various clients according to assigned territory
- Assist with loading/unloading merchandise when required (manually or with equipment such as a pallet jack)
- Secure loads using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transit
- Verify that deliveries and pickups match client orders and that goods are undamaged
- Use a mobile device to receive and transmit information related to pickups and deliveries
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any anomalies detected during trips
- Perform other related tasks as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license
- Functional English (for U.S. customs clearance and general client communication)
- Valid passport
- Strong geographical knowledge of the territory (an asset)
- Autonomous and reliable
- Good physical endurance
- FAST card, TWIC, or eligibility to obtain one (an asset)
SCHEDULE
From Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to New Jersey
- 2 to 3 trips per week
- Week 1: Departure Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and during the week between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Week 2: Departure Monday between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
From Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to Massachusetts
- 2 to 3 trips per week
- Week 1: Departure Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and during the week between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Week 2: Departure Monday between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
