SALARY
Between $72,000 and $90,000 per year.
WORK SHEDULE
Several work schedules are available:
- Schedule of 3 trips / 2 trips per week;
- Week 1: Departure on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. and during the week between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.;
- Week 2: Departure Monday evening between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 1;
- Valid T (Train) designation;
- Good geographical knowledge of your territory (an asset);
- Functional English;
- Good physical endurance;
- Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist, if necessary, to the loading or unloading merchandise manually or by using equipment (hand pallet truck);
- Secure the merchandise using straps and bars to ensure the stability and safety of the trip;
- Ensure that deliveries and pick-ups correspond to customer orders and that the merchandise is not damaged;
- Use the mobile device to obtain and send the necessary information relating to pickups and deliveries;
- Complete the daily inspection report following verifications carried out on the truck and also if anomalies are detected during a trip;
- Operate in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform all other related tasks as needed.
