POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking experienced and talented AZ Drivers with a valid LCV certification to join our dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented team.
The AZ Driver will operate a Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) from our terminal in Etobicoke, Ontario, to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. This position requires a minimum of one overnight stay and two days on the road.
WORK SCHEDULE
• 3 trips during Week 1 and 2 trips during Week 2
Week 1:
• Departure Sunday at 6:00 PM
• Departures Tuesday and Thursday between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM
Week 2:
• Departures Monday and Wednesday between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM
The AZ Driver will depart from Etobicoke, Ontario, with a Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) and travel directly to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. The driver will complete local pickups and deliveries in the South Shore of Montreal area before returning to Toronto with a Long Combination Vehicle.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an AZ (Class 1) long-haul driver.
• Valid LCV certification is mandatory.
• Experience operating automatic transmission vehicles is required. Manual transmission experience is considered an asset.
• Excellent driving record, driver abstract, and CVOR.
• No major accidents within the last three (3) years (as per driving abstract).
• Ability to use handheld electronic devices.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good geographical knowledge of the territory is considered an asset.
• Successful completion of a mandatory drug screening test.
• Must comply with all additional regulatory requirements.
