MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist the system administrator in managing domain controllers (account management, groups, server updates, GPOs, etc.)
  • Assist the system administrator in managing Microsoft 365
  • Provide users with IT support related to software, computer equipment, and the company’s network
  • Ensure installation and proper functioning of equipment
  • Handle incoming service requests using a ticketing system
  • Provide support for servers and workstations
  • Manage IT inventory and software licenses
  • Perform physical repairs on equipment

 

PROFILE SOUGHT

 

  • College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in IT, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Level 2–3 technician
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service oriented (internal clients)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows, Active Directory, GPO, SQL, IIS)
  • Understanding of basic enterprise networking principles
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Proficient with Windows 10 and 11 workstations
  • Knowledge of print servers
  • Experience installing and maintaining physical and virtual servers using VMWare (vSphere and vCenter)
  • Knowledge of networking (IP addressing, switches, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Radius)
  • Knowledge of HP desktops and servers (an asset)
  • Knowledge of VMWare Horizon – VDI desktop virtualization technologies (an asset)
  • Proactive work approach
  • Functional English (basic verbal or written communication when needed)
  • Valid driver’s license required

 

WORK SCHEDULE

 

  • Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
