WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to act quickly
- Bilingual (constant communication with clients)
- Good knowledge of U.S. territories
- Ability to negotiate and coordinate with various stakeholders (clients, carriers)
- Team player
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and analyze transportation requests (phone, email, or other) from clients, pricing department, and sales representatives
- Assess needs and identify carriers capable of servicing the required regions, in compliance with client agreements and Transport Bourassa rates
- Negotiate transportation terms and rates with partners to ensure the best balance between service, speed, and cost
- Ensure thorough follow-up of shipments through to final delivery
- Research, identify, and build relationships with carriers able to cover regions not serviced by our fleet, to meet all client transportation needs
- Maintain strong business relationships with subcontractors and keep rate agreements up to date
- Validate and compile transportation documents required for billing and proof of delivery
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned
