    •  

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

  • The successful candidate may perform deliveries using either a flatbed trailer or a curtain-side trailer, including the safe securement of freight;
  • Deliver and pick up freight from various customers within the assigned territory;
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight manually or using equipment such as pallet jacks when required;
  • Secure cargo using straps and load bars to ensure safe and stable transportation;
  • Verify that deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that freight is not damaged;
  • Use a mobile device to obtain and communicate information related to pickups and deliveries;
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any issues detected during trips;
  • Perform other related duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

  • Valid Class 1 FM driver’s licence;
  • Road Train endorsement (an asset);
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Strong organizational skills.
