The driver is responsible for the delivery and pickup of goods for various clients, as well as performing yard switches between our different terminals.

    WORK SCHEDULE

     

  • Flexible schedule with start times between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., based on candidate preference
  • End of shift between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
  • Evening premium included in compensation

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Valid Class 1 driver’s license
    • Good knowledge of the assigned territory (an asset)
    • Ability to work independently
    • Good physical endurance

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

  • Perform deliveries and pickups of goods between our terminals
  • Assist, when required, with loading and unloading goods manually or using equipment (pallet jack)
  • Secure freight using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
  • Ensure deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that goods are not damaged
  • Use a mobile device to receive and transmit information related to pickups and deliveries
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any anomalies detected during trips
  • Perform any other related tasks as required
