JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking experienced local AZ drivers to join our dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented team. The AZ driver will be responsible for delivering and picking up freight from various customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Previous experience as an AZ driver
- Excellent driving record with clean driver abstract and CVOR
- No major accidents within the last 3 years (according to abstract)
- Ability to use electronic mobile devices (ELD, tablet, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Good geographical knowledge of the territory (an asset)
- Compliance with all applicable regulations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and pick up freight from various customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area
- Assist, when required, with loading and unloading freight manually or using equipment (pallet jack)
- Secure freight using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
- Ensure deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that freight is not damaged
- Use the mobile device to obtain and communicate necessary information related to pickups and deliveries
- Perform any other related duties as required
