MECHANICAL SHOP LABOURER – EVENING SHIFT

Location: 615, rue du Luxembourg, Granby (Quebec)

 
Are you hands-on, resourceful, and enjoy working with equipment, tools, and heavy vehicles? We are looking for a General Labourer to join our Maintenance team and help keep our fleet of trucks and trailers operating at its best.

 
No mechanical training is required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.

WORK SCHEDULE

 
• Sunday to Thursday

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

• Hands-on individual who enjoys working with tools and equipment

• Resourceful and able to work independently

• Strong willingness and ability to learn

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in an industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing environment is an asset

• Interest in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics is an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES

 
• Assist mechanics with various daily tasks

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping of the maintenance shop

• Clean, disassemble, and prepare mechanical components

• Carry out visual inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment

• Assist with preventive maintenance under the supervision of mechanics

• Move and prepare vehicles as required by the shop

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

• Use tools and equipment safely and properly

• Report any issues or abnormalities to the supervisor

• Perform other related duties as assigned
