Transport Bourassa is a fast-growing company currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for its warehouses located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities related to the storage of customer materials while ensuring loading methods are optimized. The person will also supervise the staff under their responsibility.

SCHEDULE

  • Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in supervision;
  • Experience operating forklifts;
  • Functional English (communication with English-speaking clients);
  • Spanish knowledge is considered an asset;
  • Resourceful and able to find solutions to problems arising during the shift;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively share information;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and noisy environment;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise inventory operations, material movement, loading, and transshipment activities in the warehouses;
  • Review incoming and outgoing shipments and merchandise availability in the warehouse;
  • Unload merchandise from trailers using a forklift;
  • Locate merchandise in the warehouse using a forklift, tablet, and barcode scanner;
  • Manage warehouse handlers by assigning inventory and material movement tasks to optimize warehouse space;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including the application of corrective measures resulting from previous incidents;
  • Perform any other related duties requested by the immediate supervisor.
