The weekend driver is responsible for performing various inter-plant movements for our clients.

    COMPENSATION

     

  • Hourly rate of $31.65 per hour
  • Possibility to also work during the week
  • Weekday shifts are paid per task, not hourly

    •  

    WORK SCHEDULE

    • Must be available to work every weekend
    • If desired, weekday shifts may be added based on availability
    • Variable hours: start time between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., end of day around 6:00 p.m.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

     

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license
  • Good knowledge of the assigned territory (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good physical endurance

    •  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

  • Move empty or loaded trailers to assigned locations according to client instructions
  • Perform inter-plant trailer movements (TL switch) for various clients
  • Use a mobile device to receive and share information related to movements
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any issues identified during trips
  • Perform any other related duties as required
