FORKLIFT MECHANIC

Transport Bourassa is a company specialized in transportation and warehousing, recognized for its professionalism and high-quality service. Our mechanical workshop plays a key role in ensuring the safety and performance of our operations. We are currently looking to strengthen our team with a Forklift Mechanic.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts (propane, electric, and diesel);
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues;
• Repair or replace defective parts in compliance with safety standards;
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment compliance;
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance and repair records;
• Collaborate with the workshop team to optimize fleet availability and reliability;
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at all times.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in industrial mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or equivalent;
• Relevant experience in forklift mechanics or maintenance of similar equipment;
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems and computerized diagnostics;
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively;
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures;
• Team spirit and willingness to contribute to collective success;
• Asset: Forklift mechanic certification or experience in a transportation/warehousing environment.
