The weekend driver is responsible for various inter-plant trailer moves for our clients.

SALARY
· Hourly rate: $31.65 / hour
WORK SCHEDULE
· The driver must be available to work every weekend. If desired, he may add additional shifts during the week depending on availability.
· Variable hours: start between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., end around 6:00 p.m.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Move empty or loaded trailers to designated locations according to client instructions
· Perform inter-plant trailer moves for our various clients (TL switch)
· Use the mobile device to access and provide required information related to pickups and deliveries
· Complete the daily inspection report following the safety checks performed on the truck, and report any defects detected during a trip
· Perform any other related duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Class 1 driver’s license
· Good geographical knowledge of the service area (an asset)
· Ability to work independently
· Good physical endurance
