At Transport Bourassa, we are looking for a rigorous, autonomous, and resourceful person to join our Customs Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in customs operations and will be responsible for following up on files requiring specific intervention during the customs clearance process.

    SCHEDULE

     

  • Permanent, full-time position;
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
  • 100% on-site.
  •  

    REQUIREMENTS

     

  • Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or customs;
  • Bilingualism (essential – frequent interaction in English);
  • Good knowledge of customs operations and the customs clearance process;
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and prioritize tasks;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing documents and files.
  •  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

  • Ensure the compliance and validation of customs documents;
  • Enter and track shipments in the appropriate systems;
  • Coordinate information with customs brokers and other stakeholders;
  • Take ownership of files involving customs clearance issues and ensure their resolution through to closure;
  • Follow up on A8A forms and files requiring specific customs intervention;
  • Monitor inbound shipments and goods awaiting customs clearance;
  • Prepare and transmit the required data to customs systems, including ACE;
  • Follow up on orders in transit and intervene when issues may affect their progress;
  • Perform the necessary follow-ups regarding remanifesting.
